Day Four: Identify Your Audience

Today’s Assignment: publish a post you’d like your ideal audience member to read, and include a new-to-you element in it.

I don’t put
My self-esteem
In my wealth
Nor in my status
But I put it
In my manner
Thus, I should
Beautify my character.

Hadith about character.
Hadith about character. The prophet said, “I was only sent to perfect good character.” [al-hakim]

Character is one important element in our lives. Therefore, Islam has taught us about how to beautify the character. I write this topic it doesn’t mean that I have good character, no, of course not my friend. I’m so lack in character. My teacher had ever said to me, “You’re a smart student, but you’re lack in character. You must beautify your manner then you’ll become a great person. I don’t see your brain only, but I will see your character first.” I did remember her words.

Talking about character, our prophet Muhammad SAW is the perfect person with the wonderful character. His character is Qur’an. Masha’Allah!
As Muslim, we’ll find easily the character guidance in Qur’an and hadith, for instance:

Luqman:19
“And be moderate in your pace and lower your voice; indeed, the most disagreeable of sounds is the voice of donkeys.”
Hadith:
“The best among you are those who best in character.” [Bukhori]
This is only a simple post about character (akhlaq) where I do struggle to beautify mine.
