Simple tip to change blog address

I thought I couldn’t change my blog address, because I have read that we can change the blog title and tagline only. I was wrong about it. We can do it if we don’t choose to upgrade our domain. If I have a lot of (budgets) for blogging, I’ll upgrade mine. Insha’Allah!
I got its ways from blogging 101. Why I share about it? One of my friends has ever asked me about it. I said that I don’t know how to change it. Then she gave me her username and password. I thought hard and searched the way. Suddenly, I remembered something from Blogging 101 day 2, Take control of your title and tagline. I read some awesome tips there, and it was about changing the address blog.
I needed a half hour to search the info and change it. And these are its steps:

Log in to your dashboard, and choose “My Blogs.”

my blog menu

In “my blogs” menu, please click “Change blog address.”

Make sure your new address is a good one and easy to memorize by others.

The next step, you can select or not the options.

It’s easy, right? I’m really sure most of you have known about its setting.
But, I hope it’ll give advantage for bloggers whom don’t know yet about it, like me in the first time. Thus I learned it. From the question, I found the answer.
Is there question? Please ask to Blogging 101 tutors. 🙂

It’s about blogging, so I’ll put it in “Blogging 101”   category. Day 5 is about trying the themes, and it doesn’t need to make a post for it. I often try the theme, and I still love mine.

Day Four: Identify Your Audience

Today’s Assignment: publish a post you’d like your ideal audience member to read, and include a new-to-you element in it.

I don’t put
My self-esteem
In my wealth
Nor in my status
But I put it
In my manner
Thus, I should
Beautify my character.

Hadith about character.
Hadith about character. The prophet said, “I was only sent to perfect good character.” [al-hakim]

Character is one important element in our lives. Therefore, Islam has taught us about how to beautify the character. I write this topic it doesn’t mean that I have good character, no, of course not my friend. I’m so lack in character. My teacher had ever said to me, “You’re a smart student, but you’re lack in character. You must beautify your manner then you’ll become a great person. I don’t see your brain only, but I will see your character first.” I did remember her words.

Talking about character, our prophet Muhammad SAW is the perfect person with the wonderful character. His character is Qur’an. Masha’Allah!
As Muslim, we’ll find easily the character guidance in Qur’an and hadith, for instance:

Luqman:19
“And be moderate in your pace and lower your voice; indeed, the most disagreeable of sounds is the voice of donkeys.”
Hadith:
“The best among you are those who best in character.” [Bukhori]
This is only a simple post about character (akhlaq) where I do struggle to beautify mine.

Day Three: Say Hello to the Neighbors

Today’s assignment: follow five new topics in the Reader and five new blogs.

Okay, I just followed the following blogs:

  1. SunDragonLady Quiet Ramblings
  2. Purely Me
  3. Girl Next Blog
  4. Managing OS X
  5. DREAMS AND ESCAPES

and following topics:

  • life and love
  • writing and arts
  • life and sarcasm
  • technologies especially OS
  • nature

I read many blogs are about their personal thoughts, arts, writing, and life.

I hope you can follow them too.

C  U in our class! ❤

Day Two: Take Control of Your Title and Tagline

Today’s assignment: edit your title and tagline.

My title and tagline

Ishlah's logo

I’m already thrilled with my title and tagline, so I won’t edit them. Why I chose them as my title and tagline of my blog?

Okay, I’ll tell you a little about them. I chose Ishlah/ اصلاح as my blog title, its mean “The Correction.” Yeah, I wanna correct myself through blogging. I share my post about wisdom and other topics about life to advise myself. When I wrote my articles, I searched many references such as Qur’an, hadith the quotes and many things. From those, I learned a lot about life and everything. I admit, I have some bad experiences in the past that I wanna pay today. That was why I chose Ishlah. Every time I see my title, I advise myself to be better to face this life.

“Together be better” is my tagline. I invite myself first and other to be better. That is what I can do, because I can’t to be perfect person.

I thought Blogging 101 was about writing challenge, now I do know it’s about blogging guidance. 🙂

I’m sure it’ll give me many benefits. Yes, I love my class!   ❤

Day One: Introduce Yourself to the World

Today’s assignment: write and publish a “who I am and why I’m here” post on your blog

Alhamdulillah a new writing challenge just come. It’s Blogging 101.
In the first day, I’ve to introduce myself to the world. I think you’ve known who I am, what I am and where I’m from. You can read about me on page “About Me.” I’m very glad that I’ve connected with some awesome bloggers via my blog and on social media. So, should I introduce myself again here?

I decided to tell you why I’m here. I’ve written more times in my earlier posts that I’m an English learner. I love English/ Arabic besides my language. I also love writing and art so much. Here, I want to combine all my (ordinary) abilities become posts and share them in my blog.

I’ve written various topics, such as Islamic knowledge, family, writing, blogging, stories of Indonesians and so on. As a learner, I’ll explore my writing ability. I won’t to stop to write anyhow when I get a problem with my devices. I’ll keep my writing activity, if I can’t connect to internet maybe I’ll save my draft post in my PC then publish it in other time.

I knew there are so many new bloggers that started their blogging fantastically. They have a huge followers and good feedback from other bloggers. FANTASTICO! I really admire their works!

Now, back to myself, okay take it easy. Do blogging step by step and regularly. I hope I’ll get my goals soon here. Ameen! Everything is begun from the step one. From Zero to Hero! (I really love this motto!)

By the way, if you feel interest to connect with me personally, you can add me on Fb (I’m rare there) or other social media, or just email me. Please see my “Contact Me!” And if you don’t mind we can connect freely there. Actually I use Google+, Facebook, Whatsapp, and Viber. But, I’m mostly on blog and Whatsapp. (I’ll share my whatsapp and my viber number with you if you ask me via email).   🙂
I think it’s enough for this time, C U at class (Blogging 101) tomorrow, insha’Allah!
