TALK MORE TO OUR KIDS

To my dear lovely friends, I hope you all are blessed!

Today, I will be discussing the subject of speaking within Islam. When it comes to speaking, this verse comes to mind:

مَنْ كَا نَ يُؤْمِنُ بِاللهِ وَالْيَوْمِ لْاخِر فَلْيَقُلْ خَيْرًا  أَوْ لِيَصْمُت

Who believe to Allah and the  day of the judgement, it’s better for him/her to say good thing or remain silent.

In Islam, it is preferred to speak less. A good Muslim or Muslimah will think before he or she speaks. SILENCE IS GOLDEN – the mouth can give out goodness or the badness, and our words can also hurt others. Therefore, it is important to think before we speak or remain silent.

On the contrary, we have to speak more to our kids. Children should be active, have fun and enjoy their childhood, but they must also learn about Islam.We must enrich our children’s language and educate them of the positive words, such as the verses of the Quran, duas, and the beautiful words (Kalimah Thoyyibah), Insha’Allah this way they will learn the beautiful words of Islam.

We, as parents, will feel proud of our kids when we see them talking actively and well. Do not feel scared inviting them to a simple discussion, know that these discussions will sharpen our children’s brains.

Keep talking to them!!

You will see that your kids will be excited to learn more knowledge and maybe have an interest in other languages.
