In the First Night of Ramadan

The grave of my Dad.
The grave of my Dad.

In the first night

of Ramadan

I saw my Dad

in my dream

It was looked so real!

He was sleeping

on the mattress

wearing his red blanket

I sat beside him

I looked at his face

I found peace on his face

I thought………..

thought…and thought

Then I soon realized

Our worlds are different

He has returned

to his Lord

When He was alive

He had ever said

About the death

“If I die, don’t cry about my death!

Because every soul

Will taste death

It’s only about time

I and you

and all of us

Will meet our death

Who will be the first?

Only Allah The Knowing!

Don’t be sad!

Allah with us

And remember

Never put anything

On my grave

our Prophet didn’t do that.”

He was right

And I didn’t cry

As he died

But I cried when I prayed

For him

Alone in my room

اللهم اغفرله وارحمه وعافه واعف عنه

In the first night

Of Ramadan

I saw my dad

In my dream

I was happy

With his presence! ❤

special dua
Special duá for My beloved Dad

It has been almost 16 days, I lost my Dad. Here, when I write about him, it is not to show my sadness. It’s only in memory of him. Because of him, I AM WHAT I AM TODAY.

He taught me and the other children of his, to love reading, writing, painting and science. To the best of my memory, when I was child (preschool age) my Dad usually gave me  a lot of books and pens. He was my first educator and my first teacher.

I,as one of his daughters, can still do some  kindness for him. Yes of course, I can keep him in all my prayers throughout my life. I must do that.

Our prophet Muhammad Sallallahu Álaihi Wassalam, has said in his hadith;

Abu Hurayrah rahimahullaah reported that Allaah’s Messenger sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam said: “When a human being dies, all of his deeds are terminated except for three types: an ongoing sadaqah, a knowledge (of Islaam) from which others benefit, and a righteous child who makes du’aa for him.” (Muslim and others).

I hope your soul rest in peace and get many graces in barzakh,  Dad.

أمين يا  ربّ العا لمين.
