I thought that I must put the du’a (prayer  of Prophet Solomon) above before I post something here. Every good things what I have gotten now are really from Allah, and I must use them for something good too.

Now, I’ll share my images as usual. I wrote the quote about hand lettering from Kate Moross. And I completely agree with her thought.

Kate Moross.

 

Kate Moross said, “No matter how digital our lives become, hand rendered type reminds us of our humanity.”

Before you correct the written in that image, I’ll correct first, “becomes” it should be “become”  the word “remind” should be followed by “s”  and “Morross” –> “Moross.” 😀

Yeah, I wrote down the quote so fast!

Hand Lettering (8)

Alhamdulillah, I get some ideas in my head easily when I started to learn “Hand lettering.” I really feel enjoy when I do it, anyhow I get big problem now, but I put it far  away. 🙂

Okay here are my images for this Sunday! All talk about myself.

*Since Hand Lettering (7) I use drawing pens 0.1, 0.6, and for coloring I use Snowman OPM permanent Green, Blue and Red. Snowman is cheaper than Micron, yeah it’s okay for me to choose Snowman as my tools because Micron is hard to find in some bookstores.

I’ve been  busy this week. How about you, my friends? 🙂

I won’t talk more than 500 words, he..he, just share my images.

“Ramadhan in Campus” is a special program at my school where I teach it.

Ramadhan in Campus or we called in Indonesia as “Sanlat or Pesantren Kilat.” Pesantren means Islamic Boarding School, and Kilat means flash or lightning. So, Sanlat is a special program where the students learn about Islamic knowledge in short time. It’s only 5 days from 20-24 of June.  This Friday, this program will be closed. After that, the holidays will continue till the middle of next July.

And now the second image about life.

Happiness, sadness. That’s life.

Alhamdulillah, now I can log in to my dashboard again. 🙂

So, here my images!

When we got failures n many hardships in our lives, life must go on. “Never give up!” The better life will come, insha’Allah.

 

I chose Arabic wisdom for the second pic. It’s very short, but its meaning has big impact for us. I use it as life magic formula! I was wrong to write the meaning, it should be “Whoever strives shall succeed.” 🙂

Still about hand lettering, I’ll share two images for this post. Alhamdulillah, this month I have enough time for blogging and for mastering my hand writing. The main reason is this month is MY VACATION.   🙂    I dunno for next month.

Hand Lettering (3)

I chose the word “Diversity” for my images today. It’s inspired by my friend’s post Coffee + Heart. Besides that, I remembered to national motto of Indonesia, “Bhineka Tunggal Ika” translated into English becomes “Unity in Diversity.”

In Indonesia there are over 300 ethnic groups,  more than 700 languages living, 6 religions, many cultures and etc.

That was why, we use “Bhineka Tunggal Ika” as our national motto to keep the unity.

Think, Talk and Act Positively

For now, I’m using A4 Sketch Book and markers to make hand lettering. Perhaps, I’ll try other medias when I get better at this art. I’ve made a few rules for myself when I choose the words for my images.

WordPress is my second home

I felt that I must say “WordPress is my second home,”  after my real home. Here, I got many awesome bloggers, friends, and sisters.

I always get supports from you all. You’re my family here! It’s our home.

In this month (also it’s Ramadhan) I get my vacations, so I’ll force myself to keep blogging. Posting everyday, why not?! Insha’Allah I’ll do.

Every child has right to play, learn n grow together.
