You Called Them To Return To You

Labbaik Allahumma labbaik
Labbaika laa syariika laka labbaik
Innal hamda wanni’mata
Laka wal mulk laa syariika lak

You called them
They came to You
to worship You
to praise You
to follow the sunnah of Your Prophet Abraham

You called them
They came to You
to clean their souls
to increase their faith
to be Your servants

You called them
They came to You
By bringing a great hope
Become great Muslims
After performing hajj

You called them
They came to You
By leaving their nationalities
Their wealth
Their families
They’re Your slaves

You called them
to return to You
And they came to You
Some of them will never back
to their homelands
Some of them will never meet
their families ever
Some of them will never make nice gathering anymore
Because You’ve called them
and You’ve loved them!

We belong to Allah, and to Him we shall return

O, Allah! Accept their faith and all their good deeds! Put their souls in Your great place!
Ameen Allahumma Ameen….

  2. It is true that when we go for hajj we are never sure wether we will see our family again, many people die there.Now I understand why we are said that before going for hajj ask forgiveness from people we have hurt or make sure our family have enough money to live with.

    1. Absolutely sister! Performing hajj isn’t easy. We should be ready in everything. As Muslims we are required to perform hajj pilgrimage at least once in our lifetime if WE ABLE to do so. May Allah call us to visit His house! Ameen….

    It was so heart breaking this whole event. Although they’ve all gone to Allah in the best of Iman, for all the families behind it’s absolutely tragic. May Allah help and guide us all

      I didn’t know how to express my fellow feeling when I watched this tragedy on Tv. My son asked me, “is it a sign that the doomsday is so near?”
      So many Indonesian people died there, sis, n I have read from other countries too including your country. You’re right, they returned to Allah in the best iman. Ameen n jazakillah khoir to your dua. Allah is The Knowing!

  6. Ameen sister, this is sad for us to hear such a tragedy but maybe it is a wonderful death for them, only Allah knows why He chooses to call them back to Him during this wonderful pilgrimage.
    By the way, your poem is very beautiful.
