Less money…
It’s a test!

Less food…
It’s a test!

Less fruit…
It’s a test!

Loss of family,
Children,
Friends,
Jobs and
Properties,
Those’re tests from Allah!
Can we pass the hardships
patiently and being grateful
that we still have faith
in our hearts?

Having a lot of money…
It’s a test!
Having a lot of food…
It’s a test!
Having a beautiful face,
A high status,
A great job,
And having a lot of
Properties,
Those’re tests from Allah!
Can we become grateful people
to all the mercies those
we have received from Allah?

The difficulties
The happiness
are tests from Allah!

Sometimes,
People can pass
The hardships easier
than being tested
with the happiness.

  4. Just an English writing note, Fatmawaty. Fruit and Food are used in this lovely piece without the plural “s”. In the way that you used them they are already plural without the s. One wouldn’t write that they were going to the store to get fruits, but fruit, no matter if it were one piece of fruit or ten pieces of fruit. Same with food. It would, be we were served food, not foods.
    I loved this piece you wrote and I think that it was so interesting that you closed with the hardships of happiness. That is something to think about.

    1. Yes, I thought about these words before in my draft without using “s” , then I saw the Qur’an translation app, these words are using “s,” I have in doubt about both words. Thank you so much my dear friend, I’ll edit those words! ๐Ÿ™‚
