السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته
Alhamdulillah we are living in 2015 now, new year, new life and new hope, insha’Allah. How are you my dear friends? 🙂
I took break from blogging for a while. Kaka my son was ill a few last days and I did not get any ideas for writing. We have spent our days at home. We could not go anywhere when the condition was bad. We planned, that next Monday we will go to Bogor, but finally we cancelled it. Yes, we only can plan but we cannot sure to do our plans, right? Such as an incident to the passengers of AirAsia. No body of them guessed that last Saturday (26 December 2014) was unlucky day for them.

They flew from Surabaya to Singapore for some purposes, for holiday , business and so on. What was up with the plane and all the passengers? Their plane was crash on 38.000 ft, the pilot of AirAsia missed contact, and the plane lost balance then felt in to the sea. After one week, SAR , Indonesian armed forces and SAR from another countries have been working together to help and find all the victims and the plane. The incident of AirAsia QZ8501.

This sad event was taqdir from Allah. We cannot hide from our death. As Allah said in Qur’an Kareem.
Verses about the death;
“Wherever you may be, death will overtake you, even if you should be within towers of lofty construction………………” [An-Nisaa:78]
“No nation will precede its term, nor will they remain thereafter.” [Al-Hijr:5]
“Say, Indeed, the death from which you flee- indeed, it will meet you. Then you wll be returned to the Knower of the unseen and the witnessed, and He will inform you about what you used to do.” [Al-Jumu’a: 8]
The supplication at the beginning of the journey;
As His creators, it’s better for us to remember Him and ask His help in all our activities. We should do it. Such as for journeys, Islam has guided its Ummah to pray to Allah before leaving our homes.
سُبْحَانَ الَّذِيْ سَخرَ لَنَا هَذَا وَمَا كُنَّا لَهُ مُقْرِنِينَ وَاِنَّا اِلَي رَبِّنَا لَمُنْقَلِبُوْنَ
Glory to Him who has subjected this (ride) to us; we could never have accomplished this (by ourselves). And to our Lord surely, must we return back.
Islam has guided us, what should we do when disaster strikes us;
“Who, when disaster strikes them, say, “Indeed we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we will return.” [Al-Baqara: 156]
I do know and understand, this accident is hard for the victim families. But, received this accident patiently is better . Allah has something better for them, insha’Allah. I am sure that.
Is there the lesson from this accident?
We, as the Indonesian people got many lessons from this accident. It was very sad event, that is true. I saw that Indonesian people realized they should work together to help their friends. Many people did not celebrate a new year by over-celebration. They chose to pray for all the victims sympathetically.
Our duas for them,
No body wanted and hoped the accident surely. But, when we received the fate from Allah we should face it patiently. I know and I do understand, “patient” is something easy to say but difficult to do. Allah will give great reward to His servants who have patience in their lives.
If we cannot help them by our power, maybe we can help by keeping them in our prayers. Insha’Allah we can do it.
They flew toward their creator Allah The Almighty. They flew and never back.
That was a tragic incident.
May Allah shower his blessings upon the grieved families(Ameen)
